Well, thank you for coming by to my blog. I live in Shadyside, PA, which is a part of Pittsburgh. I live with my girlfriend and her pet cat Tinky.
Living in Pittsburgh I expect October to bring cold weather, new colors for our trees, and many other changes. But this October has brought a very different change for me. For the first time since I was 15 I do not have a form of employment. My former company decided to eliminate my position.
Many things have been running through my head about what my next step should be. At first I was scared that I would need to get a job on October 2nd so I could pay my bills. But I did work for a very nice company and they gave me some extra money in my final pay check. Also, with the economical situation as stiff as it has been, I was told by many established business people to "Go on Unemployment". I mean, I have been paying that tax for almost 15 years, why not get some of that money back.
This blog will follow me while I am not working full-time. I will be discussing odd jobs I may pick up for some extra money, as well as how interviews go. Also, I may discuss some business ventures I would want to try since I have the freedom to do whatever I want.
